Joanna and Richard

What can I say about Jo and Richard's wedding? It was just brilliant. She's a costumier working around the world on films such and Skyfall and he's a London firefighter — and they are a great couple. Jo's parents own a pub in Primrose Hill so the reception was held there. The ceremony took place at Burgh House and we were transported from one to the other via a routemaster bus. The food, decor, locations, weather were all great but it was the people that really made this wedding. The speeches managed to avoid clichés and just be full of very genuine good spirits, humour and love. There was no fretting about everything going right by the couple, they just gave it their all and lived it to the full. A brilliant, brilliant day. I'm honoured to have shot it.
